BIO
From the Boom Bap era of Hip Hop, Jaeda first discovered her lyrical abilities while coming to age amongst an eclectic cast of Grafitti artists and Emcees hailing from Spokane Washington. Jaeda and her crew of unbridled and often cavalier misfits (OMT) she helped create and pioneer a local Hip Hop movement that her city had never seen. Influenced by skateboard culture, punk rock music, and hip hop she learned to fuse her own brand of lyricism and influence into the fabric of her sound.
Through ongoing talent showcases, live performances and her world travels, she has been able to pioneer new landscapes as an artist. After years of honing her craft and even touring Europe in 2005, in 2010 Jaeda joined forces with Keep The Feel Entertainment and legendary Los Angeles based artist Abstract Rude. Throughout the years she has been blessed to share stages and tour with some of raps most elite, Rakim, Myka 9, Heiroglyphics, and Dead Prez to name a few. Her current release, Jaeda (self titled) is a peak into the mystical, reflective and often diverse offerings that is her brand of hip hop.
A lyrical powerhouse with remarkable stage presence, her content takes you on a journey of self-discovery, mystical imaginings, and a rooted consciousness that cannot be denied. She is currently helping to spearhead a non-prophet called Victress Voice that will offer mentorship and opportunity to women and artists across all musical genres. A passionate artist and collaborator, she sees no end to her musical future and anticipates many more years of discovery and creation.
